Adams Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. No Adams Police Department could be confirmed. Adams' official city website (adamsmn.com) has no police page and no mention of police, law enforcement, or sheriff services anywhere on the site (Government page covers only City Clerk, permits, ordinances, and council info). This is consistent with a town of Adams' size (~780 residents) being covered by the Mower County Sheriff's Office rather than maintaining its own department, but I could not find an explicit official statement documenting a disbanding date or a formal contract-patrol arrangement -- this verdict is an inference from the absence of any evidence of an active department, not a confirmed historical record. Recommend confirming with the Adams City Clerk at 507-582-3601 if certainty is needed.
