Audubon Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. Could not confirm an active Audubon Police Department. The City of Audubon's official website has no Police or Public Safety page anywhere in its navigation (checked all menus), and archive.org has never captured one on that domain either. Audubon is also conspicuously absent from the Becker County Sheriff's own list of towns it provides 911 dispatch/patrol for (Detroit Lakes, Lake Park, Frazee, Callaway, Ogema, White Earth, Richwood, Osage, Two Inlets, Pine Point are named; Audubon is not). Best determination is that Audubon no longer has its own department and is covered by the Becker County Sheriff's Office, 218-847-2661 -- but I could not find a news article or official notice specifically announcing a disbandment/merger date, so this is an inference from absence of evidence rather than a confirmed record.
