Clara City Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. Clara City's official website lists only EDA, Ambulance, Fire, Snow Removal, Planning & Zoning, and Public Works among its departments -- no police department. 'Clara City Police Dept.' also does not appear on the Minnesota POST Board's current (2026) roster of licensed law enforcement agencies, while 'Chippewa Co. Sheriff's Office' (16 officers) does. This indicates Clara City is now covered by the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office, 320-269-2121.
