Cosmos Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. The City of Cosmos's own official website (cosmos-mn.com) lists 'Meeker County Sheriff's Office' -- not a city police department -- under its Emergency Services/Police page, giving the Sheriff's non-emergency number (320-693-5400) for police matters. The city's Departments page also has no police department listing. This indicates Cosmos no longer maintains its own PD and is covered by county sheriff patrol.
