Danube Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. Danube disbanded its own police department. The city's official 'Public Safety' page states Danube is now served by the Renville Police Department (phone 320-329-3419), not by the county sheriff. This is corroborated by a Willmar Radio news article headlined 'Danube Disbands Police Department' (site returned HTTP 429 on retry, could not confirm exact date, but content matches the city's own current statement).
