Emily Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. The City of Emily no longer has its own police department. Its official site states the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office now 'has the policing responsibility and authority within the jurisdiction of the City of Emily' -- reach them at 218-829-4749, or 911 for emergencies. (Background: KARE 11 reported in May 2023 that the Emily PD was 'temporarily deactivated' after its chief was placed on leave amid a theft investigation; the deactivation appears to have become permanent.)
