Ostrander Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. Ostrander has no police department of its own; it contracts with the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office for patrol coverage (confirmed via multiple 2024-2025 Fillmore County Journal city-council reports, e.g. fillmorecountyjournal.com articles on the Ostrander sheriff contract, and corroborated by Sheriff DeGeorge's list of contract cities: Spring Valley, Wykoff, Ostrander, Harmony, Canton, Mabel). Coverage now runs through the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, 507-765-3874.
