Waubun Police Department (merged / disbanded)

This changed. Waubun does not have its own police department. The Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office official page explicitly states it 'provides policing services to 16 townships, the cities of Mahnomen, Bejou, and Waubun, and the Village of Naytahwaush.' This was cross-checked with the City of Waubun's own site (a Google Sites page linked from Waubun's Wikipedia infobox as its official site), which likewise gives only the county sheriff's non-emergency number for police matters. Current coverage: Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office, 218-935-2255, 311 North Main Street, Mahnomen, MN 56557.
